Scope of Work

Boston Building & Bridge Corp. served as the General Contractor for the $10.2 Million renovation and upgrade to the 10-story Mass DOT District 6 Corporate Headquarters located at 185 Kneeland Street in downtown Boston.  The project included the complete renovation of each floor including new executive offices, conference rooms with state of the art Smart Boards, new restrooms, and new kitchens with common eating spaces.  The Fire Protection, HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical systems were all fully upgraded. In addition, the renovation included rebuilt stairwells to meet all current codes and a new entrance lobby servicing the 10-story facility. The project was completed in multiple phases over a 3-year period on a fully occupied site.
