Scope of Work
Boston Building & Bridge was selected as the general contractor to build a new electrical substation for the Town of Belmont. This significant investment in a new Municipal Light substation is expected to result in increased electrical capacity and more economical electricity for the town and its residents.
This project consisted of the construction of a new steel-structured building with brick veneer and masonry back-up, including brick veneer and masonry transformer enclosures.
Additional features of the project include site work, site drainage structures, landscaping, pre-cast concrete plank, steel trolley crane, and complete mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
